Sundance Wind
Energy Center
The Sundance Wind Energy Center has boosted the local economy of Woods and Major Counties and created jobs, all while generating clean, American made energy. This project provides enough sustainable energy to power 55,000 American homes and serves PSO and SWEPCO customers.
This 199 MW wind project is located on private land south of Alva.
Generation capacity totaling 199 megawatts.
Enough electricity to power more than 55,000 American homes annually.
7 full-time operations and maintenance staff.
More than 150 jobs supported during construction.
More than $307 million in capital investments in the local community.
