Maverick Wind
Energy Center

The Maverick Wind Energy Center has boosted the local economy of Garfield, Major and Kingfisher Counties and created jobs, all while generating clean, American made energy. This project provides enough sustainable energy to power 85,000 American homes and serves PSO and SWEPCO customers.

This 288 MW wind project is located on private land southwest of Enid.

Invenergy is a proud sponsor of 4-H Groups in Garfield, Major, Logan and Kingfisher Counties.

Generation capacity totaling 288 megawatts.

Enough electricity to power more than 85,000 American homes annually.

10 full-time operations and maintenance staff.

More than 150 jobs supported during construction.

More than $402 million in capital investments in local communities.
